What should you know about entry rules and event-day details?
Subaru Park has clear-bag requirements, screening before ticket scanning and event-specific gate opening times. For Union games, Subaru Plaza opens two hours before game time; the Clubs & Suites, Subaru Gate and Heineken Deck open 90 minutes before, while General Admission opens one hour before.
All bags must be clear, and bags larger than 14 inches by 14 inches by 6 inches are prohibited. The entry policy also prohibits backpacks, alcohol, animals other than service animals, beverage containers, bottles, cans, coolers and camera bags. Guests are screened with Evolv Express before proceeding to ticket scanning.
You cannot leave and re-enter on the same ticket. In an emergency, a gate supervisor may sign the ticket stub for re-entry through the same gate. The Box Office opens five hours before events.
All public entrances are ADA accessible, and accessible seating is available on every level; the stadium guide identifies specific locations. Children two years old and under can enter without a ticket but must sit on a parent or guardian’s lap.
How do you plan transport and timing?
For Philadelphia Union matches, you can take SEPTA’s Wilmington/Newark Regional Rail line to Chester Transportation Center and continue on the free shuttle to Subaru Park. Shuttle service starts four hours before game time, runs every 20 minutes and picks up fans at Seaport Drive and Reaney Street, across from Lot D.
The shuttle is not available for non-Union events, so check event-specific directions before setting out. The guide to getting to Subaru Park from Essington focuses on the journey from the hotel area.
Waterfront Inn PHL Airport is in Essington, PA. Entry procedures, transport arrangements and event schedules can change, so check the official site before you go.
